Gurhan Heinert is an attorney specializing in immigration law through his firm Heinert Law, PLLC. based out of Long Island City, New York.

He began his career at an immigration law firm in 2010 after completing his undergraduate degree. After four years of watching clients struggle with the obstacles of our immigration system and witnessing the impact attorneys have on people’s lives, he entered law school to pursue his passion.

He spent a year doing Trust Administration after law school and found he missed interacting and working directly with clients and having a positive impact in their daily lives. He went back to pursue his passion of working with the immigrant community.

Being the active part of each case, each clients’ experience, and representing every case in court is his passion and reason for entering law. As the son of immigrant parents and a first generation American, he acutely understands his clients’ needs and the importance of their cases.

He’s fluent in Spanish, making it easier to communicate and advocate for his clients’ needs. From the first meeting to the last and everything in between, he works directly with each of his clients. He never passes clients on to a paralegal or liaison because he focuses on creating a relationship and understanding to ensure the best possible outcome for each case.
